Local? Already making it onto best of lists like Slant Magazine (tough reviewers), winning awards like Iggy, etc.
They're becoming an International thing (excluding Japan ).
Audiobot, Will.i.am, Swizz Beats, Jimmy Iovine, and so fourth would not know of them if they were "local".
What's so weird to me is how famous Big Bang is in Japan though no one buys their singles or albums there.
I blame the trash that is SNSD + KARA for stealing all the shine from other K-Pop acts in Japan. They selling what TVXQ did with BEST albums in their peak with their studios.
Do you need me to post her schedule for the month of album release? Single and album promotions are not the same thing or else I can say 2NE1 has already done tons of promo for COLLECTION when we know that ain't the tea. Also it may not sell Platinum but it'll ship it. At least it got her an 8th #1 album with no effort although since you've ditched Rihanna it's not like I can use that one anymore.

KARA literally only have 5 good songs. SNSD's Japanese album slayed but they're garbage otherwise. Am bothered.
