i guess this is kinda blunt but i don't think people like that are ready for a relationship. if you get that jealous and controlling then you can't have any kind of healthy relationship. they should work on their insecurities and attitude before they try to get with anyone

I don't think it's that bad, I think she just has her insecurities because she's been treated really bad in the past by guys. The guy she's with now is really the sweetest ever and they suit so well. I think it's just a learning experience, he needs to learn to be more considerate towards her insecurities and she needs to learn to accept herself and be less jealous and paranoid. It just takes time for some people to let the walls down and fully commit. I hope they can work it out though, because deleting social media isn't really the solution.

i don't know...i mean, every relationship has problems and fights every once in a while, but it feels like if it gets to the point of deleting social media then there's something that needs to be done there. that doesn't mean they should break up, but it's something to seriously address.

like in my relationship we were really good together in a lot of ways, but i have anxiety issues so i'd get insecure a lot too, but i think it was important that my ex would respect my insecurities but not cave into them. just letting the insecure person control you definitely doesn't help anyone at all. it's important to be understanding, but you can't let the irrational side of the person control the relationship.

yeah, that's pretty much me too. he did some really messed up things to me but i did some things that i probably wouldn't admit in public too, and i don't think it would be fair to blame everything going wrong on him. i'm still pretty bitter about some stuff, and there are ways that it really messed up my life, but i think i'm a lot smarter because of what happened, so i guess i got some benefit in the end.
