I watched The Sixth Sense for the first time and wow really amazing movie, it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be but it made me jump a few times the part where he's on the staircase staring at that burnt part and you can hear the man saying "If you don't let me out I'm gonna kill you!" and the part with the lady who he thought was his mom, + the girl vomiting made me scream

I really loved the red symbolism that Shyamalan used..I noticed it even before looking it up, very original.

Even though Shyamalan hasn't been good since.... Signs, i'm willing to give his new movie a chance. It's found footage, so that's kinda disappointing, but maybe he'll bring something new to the table.

Does anyone know the "horror" It Follows? Someone recommended it to me and, I mean, Scary Movie scared me more than that trash it seemed more like a parody since I laughed more than I was scared (which I wasn't at all).

Does anyone recall what ever happened to The Strangers 2? I know at one point one of the main actors stated it wouldn’t happen unless more people requested for it, but thats the last I’ve ever heard about it

Are all these classic horror movies completely ruined but 213789214 sequels?

I watched Friday The 13th 1-5 over the past 2 days and 4 + 5 are terrible.
In every single one you have Jason hiding under the bad and sticking something through someone's stomach. A girl running into the house and locking herself in, just so Jason can throw a dead body through the window. And the stupid couple who have sex getting killed right after it

Same with Wrong Turn. The first 2 were great but 3 was the worst movie I've ever seen. I saw the start of 4 but I had to turn it off

Didn't the same thing happen with Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and Elm Street?

Finally got to watch 'Eden Lake' and it's brilliant. I'm astonished at how good in her role the main actress was. Though it leaves a bittersweet taste in my mouth that the boys (and the girl) that showed remorse in the end were killed and the asshole of a leader not. And most of all that the heroine didn't survive either due to the losing streak of unfortunate events. All in all really dramatic, great acting, great movie.

That ending really annoyed me. The way she happened to crash her car at the parents' house and how they didn't call an ambulance straight away. It's unrealistic how they were all just as sick as the kids. Even if they deleted the videos they would still never get away with it.
With one kid set on fire, 2 stabbed, 1 run over, 2 people missing and multiple witnesses.

This showed once more that the kids from the underclass aren't educated right and that their parents are no different. Kinda hits a certain mentality in the UK I guess.

I thought about that too, but wasn't that the hardest thing to watch? How the whole community of that town sticks together? I feel like that was a great social commentary. I actually think **** like this happens. And that's why the movie made me feel terrible afterwards.

I knew **** was going down when she crashed the car into the garden. I knew that people wouldn't really help her.

Eden Lake is a movie where a group of teenagers kill the main girls boyfriend, that boyfriend kills one of the teens dog by accident, which is why the boyfriend will die. His girlfriend is trying to survive, kills 2 of the teenagers, lands in their parents garden looking for help in the end. The parents find out what she did and kill her.

Most comments regarding It Follows either are stating it as a modern masterpiece or saying it's overrated but still good.
In comparison, it's more liked than disliked.
