It's even crazier when you consider that many schools have 3 different focuses of economics (business and arts and sciences w/BA and BS). It's such a fascinating field. Also so ****ing complex. I respect the hell out of economic researchers, that is some HIGH level math and statistics work.

Bernie wouldn't be her VP, but he sure as hell will not let his supporters sit out this elections if Hillary wins the nomination. Low voter turn out and voter apathy are things he wouldn't encourage.

Worse case scenario is him not explicitly endorsing/supporting her and say something along the lines of "vote with your conscience."

And if you think about it, business is the whole issue of this Democratic primary. How should the financial industry be regulated? To what extent should it be regulated? What is the social role of large corporations? To what extent should business have influence over politics, and vice versa?

There's just so much to it.

Oh he did. But he took much more away from Clinton because their bases are very similar. Basically her leads would be eaten into everywhere while Bernie could rise from those two duking it out. The only reason Clinton herself is still here is because Biden pulled out. I don't believe she would be in a winning position that she's in now had he ran because he's just like her but more like able .

It's weird how self-sustaining the political industry itself is in the US. In other countries isn't it far more common for people in business to be involved in politics?

I don't know much but one of the most interesting cases is Ukraine and business world intersection with their political sphere. Also I'm getting way off topic tonight but Yulia Tymoshenko seems like a brilliant and passionate politician from what I know of her.

I agree with this, but it frustrates me so much. She and Biden are essentially identical politically, have a very similar base of friends, and come across as wealthy and proper. Nothing about Biden is more relatable than Hillary, the only difference being that Hillary is more serious as a person than Biden. Is it because he is a man? Is it his smile and laugh? I really don't get it, especially when events like Benghazi happened under his watch, but Hillary took full responsibility for it even though it was a failure of the Obama administration as a whole.

There is a big difference in our party bias vs. being in the tank and carrying water for someone that clearly isn't an honest person and is tainted. For example,I bet you believe her when she says she didn't tell the family members standing by their sons corpses that their death was due to a video. What is more likely she lying or all the families got together and conspired to make her look bad?

There is no way a republican congress is going to work with her when they all think she should be, at most in jail, or at least not run at all.

I actually was favoring Cruz until he boned Carson. Sure CNN reported Carson was dropping out but Cruz had an obligation to contact Carson to verify and not run with it. Even though I don't support Carson, that was an F'ed thing to do to him.

If the country was booming and we were not facing all the problems abroad and at the border I would support a Democrat if they were like Bill. I can't support Hillary or Bernie, they are going to spend up in to oblivion.

Females Senators to Warren: Endorse Hillary Clinton

Thoughts on this? Personally, I'm not sure what Warren should do. As a Clinton supporter I'd love for her to back Clinton but I fear for her political career either way

If she endorses Clinton, it'll seem like she's "part of the establishment" that Bernie is trying to get rid of and she'll potentially lose her followers who are basically the same ones Bernie has. HRC + PP part II

If she endorses Sanders it'll look like an attack on her gender seeing as every female senator already endorsed Clinton and it wouldn't bring any new voters to Sanders and wouldn't help him in problem areas that he has.

But if she does endorse Clinton then she could fortify her argument that she is a progressive who gets things done and nobody knows that better than Warren, someone who has had beef with Hill over her willingness to work across the isle

And if she does endorse Bernie then that'll energize his base even more because every progressive champions her and it'll "prove" that she stays true to her word of fighting against some things Clinton is for.

However if she doesn't endorse at all and waits completely then she'll get backlash from both sides. Her supporters will take it as a sign she doesn't believe in Bernie's message for not endorse and Clinton's people will think she isn't here for a potential first female president and doesn't care about the Democratic Party to energize it
