That is no excuse. Mai Kuraki did the same not because they think it would be flop but only to make sure her Top 10 streak is maintained. Milestone is a normal single in every way.

She's a singer aswell. She's released two mini albums and two full albums.
Her music is basically all uptempo stuff. She's very insipired by J-Pop Queen Namie Amuro.

Her music sh!ts but as far as vocal ability and performing skills she's well ... very unfortunate
Her music doesn't sell either. & to make matters worse she's currenlty being slandered in the Japanese media for her shotgun wedding
