The current arc is better, so far. Besides what's the point of "being on the best arc" when the animation is lackluster ?

Remember Erza vs Kaguya, the butchering that was the anime.

The only decent part that made sense during this arc was Lucy summoning the spirit king and slaying, but every single villains got humiliated. So much for being "Zeref's strongest demons".

If there's anything I've learned from watching anime it's that people who don't care for the manga seem to enjoy anime a hell lot more.

Hence I will never read manga.
