Mm k, as long as we're on the same page about the last two! Circus did have edgy songs however I still feel like Britney was going for something more, but the time constraints and the entire 'comeback!!' thing lingering over that album limited its possibilities (musically), that's all. I could never truly hate her albums (even if Britney Jean is disgusting), I just get why others might hate the last 3.

FF is not a bad album.

Her vision for FF would have worked during the Britney Jean era.

FF needed to happen. It's just the wrong singles were chosen

I think have of Circus is fine but she could have added more state of grace and inspiring songs to balance out the circus/womanizer songs.

MM is up one spot to No.25 on iTunes USA. That is crazy how the song is holding well on US iTunes. Next week will be impressive with all the promos lining up.

+add a few more inspiring songs
Circus could have told a story the way Blackout did ending with Why should i be sad?

FF needed the right singles

the vision Britney had for FF should have been for Britney Jean something out there but quality based instead of a parody album.

I hope man on the moon/invitation and a few other tracks really give us something special

Yeah. I'm sure it's not what we would have gotten had she had 100% creative control, but it wasn't like Femme Fatale where the one song she wrote wasn't even allowed on the standard edition of the album. But I'm pretty sure she said in an interview for Circus that she wanted something lighter than Blackout and she seemed excited about the material at the time. I think Circus was a good mix of what she wanted and what was sensible for that point in her career. I don't think she could have afforded to release something polarizing like Glory at that time.

Once that is done then they need to push for the 2nd single.

It will repeak and if they release the original MM video a day before VMAs, she will get streaming too. Top 10 will be possible. It would be nice to see her scoring a top 10 now considering she has been in the business almost 20 years and most of her peers hardly got one
