I can't speak for the other Bernie supporters but it doesn't matter who gets the nomination, I'm still voting democrat. And I do find it ridiculous that all of them would rather stay home than vote because not voting for Hillary sure as hell isn't going to make anything Bernie promises, happen. At least Bernie has raised his profile and can continue the discussion, even if he loses the nomination.
But I support Bernie because I agree with his policies, he comes off as more genuine to me, and seems like he's ready to fight for his policies and get people behind him. There's no doubt it my mind that if Hillary gets elected she'll keep moving this country forward, but she just doesn't have the excitement that Bernie has.
Either way, we can't afford a republican taking office. And as much as I hate Trump, I don't believe for a second he actually supports 90% of the crap he says but he has a base to appeal to and he's going to have to make some of it happen or else he'll lose his support. So even the people who think Trump is a liberal (he actually is), he's still going to have to come through on his promises.
