I understand why this underperformed. The poor callouts remain a surprise as it's still the best written song on the album IMO but the middling airplay, sales and streaming as a result make sense. But she really screwed the pooch in terms of the overall chart history. All she had to do was perform it at the Grammys. A video on the Friday would have been nice (I mean, there's a good chance a video NOW would do the trick as well, but we know that's not happening), but unnecessary. I mean, she probably doesn't care at all, and the album sales have totally shugged this off, but as a fan it's frustrating.

It really could've been handled better. "Set Fire to the Rain" still flourished with no MV but this is struggling (I'm using that term loosely), so a MV would possibly rebound it. Regardless, the song is still dope, and one of my favorites on the album.
there alot of great and Classic songs that failed to make big impressions at the charts anyway, most important is that she gave us a great song tbh, and 18+ million ppl around the World owns it
