I don't think New Hampshirites would take her words seriously and I believe she only got elected again last year because she was running against Scott Brown (he's a businessman who had just moved from Massachusetts for God's sake. NH was just not here for him.)

I think Hillary Clinton is going to end up winning, unfortunately.

Hillary Clinton’s media tour has officially commenced.
Clinton will make her first late-night talk show appearance since announcing her presidential run on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Sept. 16. This also marks her first visit to the show.
The Democratic presidential candidate will be interviewed by ABC News’ David Muir Tuesday night and visit Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talker on Thursday during the premiere week of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Top Story 9/8
Quote:
Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry has shuttered his South Carolina campaign headquarters in the capital city of Columbia, his state chairman Katon Dawson confirmed Tuesday.
This comes almost a month after the Perry campaign announced that it would no longer be paying staff across the country.
Dawson attributes the move out of the building, which he provided for the Perry campaign in his retainer fee, to a "hot new client" that a realtor found for the space.
In the meantime, Dawson says the whole Perry team in South Carolina has relocated to his own office, Dawson Public Affairs. The chairman confirmed that he remains on a volunteer basis with the campaign, adding he hasn't been paid for "20 to 30 days."

Rick Perry ![JonnyϟLightning](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/jonny_zpsc73391c5.png) He has a very loyal staff, to say the least. The guy is a fighter, let's give him that.

Trump forces Bush to change his position on cutting the Hedge Fund tax loop hole.
Quote:
Jeb Bush is copying Donald Trump -- and Hillary Clinton, and President Barack Obama.
Bush will present a tax plan on Wednesday that curbs a lucrative perk for hedge fund managers and private equity magnates -- a proposals that mirrors those of his top rivals in the 2016 presidential election.
The plan, outlined in a Wall Street Journal op-ed distributed to reporters Tuesday night, is short on details. But one of the few concrete terms would eliminate the carried interest loophole, which allows wealthy fund managers to avoid billions of dollars in taxes by treating their income as capital gains rather than as salaries. Capital gains are taxed at a lower rate than regular income, resulting in a massive tax break for many financiers.

I love Jill Stein. I agree with her that this two-party system really sucks. But unfortunately I don't know if we'll ever see the end of it.
I don't think this'll happen but I hope there's a place for her in Hillary's White House. I don't think she'd be interested and I don't think Hillary's looking at her, but Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, anyone?

I know these two are retiring, Boxers seat will be safe, Reid's seat on the other hand could be up for grabs.
I don't know off the top of my head if any others are retiring or not.

I was just thinking about how Illinois Rep. Tammy Duckworth should run for Mark Kirk's Senate seat and it turns out she actually is!
She's a pro-Abortion, pro-LGBT Iraq war veteran. I remember hearing her name even before I was into politics.
EDIT: Omg, I just learned she lost BOTH of her legs in war.

The Green party ain't gonna do it...there is really only room for a Centrist party in the US. It's basically what the so called "independent" voters are now anyways.
Joe will be the Democratic nominee, not Hillary...the only White building Hillary deserves is a jail she should get sent to for her alleged criminal activities. ![:)](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Welp, Trump just SUPER disrespected Fiorina in a really sexist way. I knew those interviews were going to ruin him. I really think it's over now for him. Very disappointing. Surprised he even let Rolling Stone interview when the were obviously not in his camp.

Kamala Harris, Attorney General of California - Seeking to replace Barbra Boxer
Quote:
I’m excited to share with you that I’m launching my campaign to represent the people of California in the United States Senate.
Your support has been crucial to me every step of the way, and I’m asking you to help me build a grassroots campaign that reaches every community of California.
From my first days as a prosecutor in Alameda County, to my work as San Francisco District Attorney to my current service as California Attorney General, I have worked to bring smart, innovative and effective approaches to fighting crime, fighting for consumers and fighting for equal rights for all.
I want to be a voice for Californians on these issues and others that impact our state in the U.S. Senate. I will be a fighter for the next generation on the critical issues facing our country. I will be a fighter for middle class families who are feeling the pinch of stagnant wages and diminishing opportunity. I will be a fighter for our children who deserve a world-class education, and for students burdened by predatory lenders and skyrocketing tuition. And I will fight relentlessly to protect our coast, our immigrant communities and our seniors.
California has been incredibly well served by the transformational leadership of Senator Boxer and the continued service of Senator Feinstein. With your help, I hope to build on their legacies in the U.S. Senate.
I’m looking forward to seeing and talking with you in the coming days and months. In the meantime, I hope you will join me on this journey. We will do incredible things together.
Thank you,
Kamala
