Nnnnn
Pull the attention away from the REAL T, which is YES... you DO need a psychologist to clear you for the surgery. So have several seats, and some scalding T on me henney. ![Lipton 2](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/tea_zps9c3bbac3.gif)

Girl... re-read what I said. You literally stated the OPPOSITE of what I said.
I said, trans ppl refer to themselves as what they are GOING to be (the opposite of what Mr. Jenner is doing). And yes, it IS a prerequisite to be cleared by a psychologist... ![coffee2](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/b80efe23.gif)

...sis no one is arguing that it isn't a prerequisite to be cleared by a psychologist to have sex reassignment surgery...

The fact that their is arguing in this thread is just
This is their life, and Bruce is making the DECISION. This is Bruce's life, and not for ANYONE to sit around and judge.
To me, WHERE in the world is there a rulebook to life, as to what's good and what is not good, how we should live is up to our OWN devices (Don't even bring religion or the Bible into this, as again, WHO is to say everyone needs to follow it, or any religious form for that manner) THERE IS NO right and wrong in any situation. Life is life, and I am damn proud of Bruce for standing in their truth.
Also, I don't really think people get the MAGNITUDE of how massive this is. Transgender issues have been swept under the rug for many, many, MANY years, and though I don't identify as Transgender, I am a gay male, and Bruce opening up the door to this discussion, that many people avoid, or have simply never been introduced to it, now have an understanding that we are not all built the same, or act the same. We are our own individuals, and WE make up the rules to our own life, not the opinion of others.
All in all, I am very happy for Bruce, and the interview was emotional, educational, and an excellent piece in journalism. Diane Sawyer, the entire team behind this interview, ABC, and especially Bruce, should be exceptionally proud.

Gurl...
Yes it is great he has made HIS DECISION.
But don't act like judgement is NOT expected (or scrutiny) when he has a TELEVISED EVENT that he's transitioning at the tender age of 65. ![rolleyes](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

The part i dont like about this story are the comments about Bruce being 'brave, strong, authentic' which is absolute nonsense and if you believe it you need your head examined. This MAN married three times, fathered numerous children, raised stepchildren, is a grandfather, helped to exploit the whole Kardashian family and now he wants to be a WOMAN to complete the dysfunctional family. Brave, strong and authentic are those who work hard to raise families, join the military, fight for the less fortunate, feed the hungry, house the homeless, work with addicts, alcoholics, mentally and physically challenged...Shall I go on?
Not to mention Bruce killed a woman in a car crash while texting when he was driving months before! So its just forgotten because hes a celebrity? Does anyone care about the lost life of a woman and her family?

He's brave and strong because in a world full of judgmental, ignorant and hateful people like yourself, he has made the decision to be himself despite the backlash he may get. He's trying to make a difference and help other people in his situation. No one is saying it's the bravest thing anyone on earth has ever done, but he IS brave and you're dumb to ignore that. People in the army etc get credit all the time, so I don't get your point. Bruce shouldn't get credit for trying to help a cause where thousands of people kill themselves, get rejected by their entire family and more? Really? Bruce is trying to make a positive change and IS already helping the world to understand the transgender issue with this interview, what are you doing with your life? Being a hateful bitch. Bye.
Actually, that accident happened afterwards. Not sure what that has to do with the interview. This is bigger than just Bruce, but I know you don't get it.
