Well after one of the judges called me Jolie's Vaginal Lips (though Four did give me a reasonable score) in his commentary for my song, I'm not sure if I want them to have a say at all

If I'd have known the idea was to send the most cliché duet we can then I would have sent I've Had The Time Of My Life.

Dillon mislead me when he said "Impress the judges" - it implied obscurity and looking outside the boundaries of generic duets.

I think you were definitely on the right path, your choice was different and stuck out artist and genre wise. I was impressed by that. I just felt like it could have been executed a bit better in regards to what I expect from a duet. don't let it discourage you!

Well I was going to choose I Got You Babe but again it had that "Everyone knows it and goes for it" factor. I'm just lucky I avoided the first one that popped into my head - Gaga and Bennett.

I know what you mean, I often found myself going through the same thought process when I was a contestant it gets a bit easier with time, though, when you get a feeling for the game and how everything works

Definitely! Especially so seeing as this is the first game I've competed in on here (alongside The Voice). I just want to get onto the next round so I can start searching for my next song now.

nice, Survivor was also my first tournament here searching for the perfect song each round was always one of my favorite parts about this game, it's so much fun.

anyway, I just want to give a little piece of advice to all the contestants - take your time with choosing your entry. this is not a race for who sends in the fastest, your first idea might not always be the best one, and especially if it's a round that has certain criteria like this one, don't limit yourself to what first pops into your head. I think some submissions last round were rushed and there could have been better results with a bit more consideration. choose wisely
