Bad Religion gives me goosebumps every time I listen
but the whole album gets me so emotional, it's like I can feel everything he put into it and the outcome is just so incredible. I love every single song, his lyrics are amazing and the music too, everything about this album is.
In Bad Religion, when he says "A one-man cult" "I could never make him love me/ Never make him love me", he's talking about God right? Because some people are saying he's talking about a guy.
I almost cried to Bad Religion. Now I'm not that type of dude who cries to songs now, so you know its serious. You could hear the emotion and it and its so sincere man.
There is a difference between Frank Ocean and the rest of his R&B contemporaries. No, it has nothing to do with his admittedly introverted demeanor, or his Odd Future affiliation, or penchant for playing "Guitar Hero" in time with a legendary Eagles guitar solo. It especially has nothing to do with his sexual orientation. Rather, this 24-year-old is lapping his peers and setting the blogosphere ablaze because of the fearlessness in everything he does.
I don't know what I think of the album on a whole yet. On track 16 ATM, so nearly finished the first listen.
I absolutely adore Nostalgia, Ultra, in fact it's my favourite album of this decade so far. I just don't know about Channel Orange yet. I can't say it's bad in the slightest or even unpleasing, I just don't know. Lol, one thing I can say about it is that it has taken me to a special place while listening to it.
