Oh, sure, that would be fascinating.
Guys, thinking of a US version of The New Sound of the UK.
But what five ladies would qualify? 
I'm thinking Lana and Santigold would be two. I'm at a loss for the other three. Think indie/alt-pop stars.

The UK version had very successful, awesome pop acts. The US version you're thinking of wouldn't be fun.

How about, after the Ultimate Disney Girls Rate ends, you host the Primark's Finest rate?
All of Cheryl's, Leona's, Alexandra's, Pixie's and someone else's singles. I legit can't remember the fifth!

Michelle Branch vs Vanessa Carlton vs Jojo singles rate?
They all kind of differentiated their image and sound from the expected pop norms/standards of the time. Plus they'll all had flash in the pan careers, only really being remembered for one song. I think it could work.
Jojo could be switched with someone else seeing as she's more of a mid 2000's kinda girl. But Branch vs Carlton NEEDS to happen, so many people I know think that that they are the same person.

Yeah, Michelle and Vanessa came out with some other girl. Who was she?
And does anyone want to do a rate of all the Britney and/or Avril wannabes? Amanda, Hoku, Katy Rose, Fefe Dobson. Good times.

Also, I'm going to twist the rate Keir attempted to get off the ground last November.
Instead of pitting the five biggest British girl groups of the past fifteen years together - there are too many damn singles for that - we'll do it by decade.
90s - The bulk of the Spice Girls classics, All Saints' first album, Eternal, etc.
00s - the fun part. Girls Aloud/Sugababes/Saturdays, with appearances by Atomic Kitten and Mis-Teeq!
AND THE 411. I should get Mikal to host it.
