The story was horrible in XY. Barely had any until like gym 3 and from there on it they rushed it. Tbh nothing really happened until the last showdown. Team Flare are a joke compared to other teams as well.
Also XY's teams were absolutely laughable. the fact that some many trainers had pokemon with 2 or 3 moves even late game is simpley not ok.
And the pacing was trash too. It takes you hours to get to gym 3 and then suddely you are fighting the E4.
Oh yeah and let's not forget the whole post game stuff (that barely exists)
But yeah only the broken EXP share is legimate criticism
The problem with all this is that it's so soon after the reveal of Magearna or whatever, and it's almost definitely a Gen 7 pokemon since all the Gen 6 legends/myths were coded into the game well before reveal...
Gen 6 lacks the typical 100 base legend and that could be Magearna.
The X/Y storyline was non existent and the pacing was messy. These are facts. But everything X/Y did wrong ORAS did do well, making Gen VI as a whole, satisfying. They just need to combine the good of X/Y with the good of ORAS and the game will feel complete. I've been saying this.
@Retro tf just cuz they coded some in doesn't mean there can't be any extra in Gen 6.5. ORAS had so many extra pokemon like Money hungry Nintendo will just block trading the new mons
ORAS had NO extra pokemon They had mega evolutions but that's not at all the same precedent as dropping new legendaries into the mix in the middle of the generation, which has literally never happened.
The closest they've come is just giving new forms.
Yeah at all of this. XY is so watered down it's not even funny.
I mean look at Tierno's team right before the 8th gym. How did they think this is acceptable

But they weren't in the XY code. Magearna can still be in this new game even if its not gen 7.
If it's still in Kalos, a different story with a different evil team, several different gyms, about 30 more Pokemon, 15 or so more Megas, and the chance to visit another region post game would make it okay

I agree. If they do this we will have a fantastic game and would probably be my favorite yet.

I probably read the first post wrong. I thought u said Magearna being left out of the XY code made it impossible to be in a continuation. Well if the next gen is connected like Jhonto & Kanto was then ur right.
