MTS was THE place to go during TS2 and early TS3 days, and now it's so dead. Tumblr is the place to go now for custom content.

I used to go on that site a lot during 2 and 3 eras but now nothing is exciting there. Custom content creators moved to Tumblr and a lot of modders from 2 and 3 quit. Anyways 2 and 3 were a lot more popular for CC creators like myself. Barely anyone uploads content there. They also have strict rules on what content is uploaded. It has to meet a certain quality. The modders there helped me a lot.

They will. Trust me, they are just figuring out the engine etc. They pretty much said to not expect a pattern, one EP this year may mean 4 next year.

I get the Dine Out delay that was supposedly delayed due to bugs and technical difficulties, but rn it seems like the team are slacking off. they had the perfect chance to announce a new EP at EA Play, and now we only have Gamescom but I wouldn't hold my breath.

They have been working on EP3 since Nov last year. Whatever it is, I think it will be huge.

It's not going to be one EP a year. They said right now it's looking that way because they are still working out the engine. Next year they could have 4, for example. They said not to expect a pattern this year, because this year a lot is going on behind the scenes.

Remember, The Sims 3 uses the same engine as The Sims 2. They were used to it.
The Sims 4 is still new.

Because Tumblr is massive. EA encouraged everyone to move to Tumblr in 2013, so websites couldn't charge people. They encouraged the "Simblr" movement.

Tumblr for Simming is huge.

I went to ModTheSims to download the fixed world for Isla Paradiso. Island Paradise is a great EP but the world created for it is terrible.

Does anyone else agree that The Sims 2 console Sims are still the best design they have ever had for Sims?

The Sims 2 PC Sims look pretty bad nowadays, The Sims 3 Sims have always been a hot mess. The Sims 4 Sims are okay but look a bit barbie like.

the console versions of the Sims were so ****, I played them all and the only decent one was TS3. everything else was SOOOO Bad.

The Sims 2 sold 6 million on PC/Mac as of 2012. It's sold 20+ million on all platforms.
The Sims 3 sold 7+ million on PC/Mac as of 2015. It's sold 10+ million on all platforms.
The Sims 4 has sold 5 million on PC/Mac after 18 months. It's only been released on PC/Mac so far.

EA have vocalised many times that The Sims 4 is doing really well. They said it was their strongest game in 2015 for revenue.
It's the first Sims game to be the #1 PC game two years in a row.

It's clearly doing well.

The reason why? Because it's runs on almost any PC, which widens the audience for EA.

EA (as of 2013) is repairing their image, and only announcing sales of games that are under license (like Star Wars and Disney, FIFA etc).

They didn't announce sales for Dragon Age and other EA IP's as well,
