Wow my fave, Justin Bieber, is about to snatch the top spot on itunes and probably the hot 100, something his collaborator, Ed Sheeran, has never done! I see why his fans are attempting it....
8. Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello - I Know What You Did Last Summer (+1)
Yes, Camila's voice is quite polarising - you will either love it or hate it. I love it, particularly her lower register(which she doesn't use in this song, her voice has definitelg made IKWYDLS a more interesting song. I don't think it'd have quite the same punch had someone like Tori Kelly/Hailee sang it.
You really seem to underestimate Justin esp when his first two singles are already huge hits. Ed may be great but did he give three huge worldwide hits in one album? I think not.

This tbh
LY is a good song that was written by Ed, but the GP doesnt even care or know who the writer is! The song is slaying because of Justin
Well, I did't but it's true: the only reason that song is a hit is because you can hear Ed Sheeran in it. Clearly a leftover from the X sessions that Ed gave it to him because it wasn't good enough to be in his Grammy AOTY nominated album. Sorry if you can't see this, it doesn't matter because Ed is collecting the checks. Well, not a lot of checks because the song is not a good seller, but it's nice to pay for a small vacation.
Not a leftover X session track doing what no Ed track has ever done before
I wonder if the song would exist without it's writer? Especially when the song has the 'Ed Sheeran sound'. This flawed logic.
And with your logic... if Max Martin and Shellback did not exist, then Taylor's successful 1989 singles wouldn't be successful! (I'm using her as an example since she's your fave)
Plus there's no such thing as "Ed Sheeran sound"! He's on his second album and he became popular WW by just one song!

GOD, the fact that you are in a pop forum but you can't check the facts before posting this kind of atrocity.
I'm done with the topic, it's not worth it.

The A Team, I See Fire, Sing and Don't were all released before Thinking Out Loud. What are you talking about? You may have started knowing who Ed Sheeran was while that song was all over the world but he was already popular before that one.
