Am i the only one who thinks RCA's approach to We r who we r was very smart ?
They sent the song to the radio first, not releasing it to itunes just yet, which increased the songs demand.
Then a few days later, they released it to itunes at the perfect time, which caused a huge front-load in sales which allowed the song to debut at #1
The download repression did its job with the big debut. Rihanna has done this a few times, too, I think. I wonder how they'll approach it this time around. An immediate digital release is usually what's done, nowadays.
She actually looks rather slim in that video, it may just be the paint but her face looks a lot thinner.
Also yes, i guess thats what i want them to do it this time, expect she also needs to upload a lyric video the day it comes on the radio because most people arent smart enough to do the youtube-mp3 convertions

I think she is slimmer.. from instagram to this video, you can see she pulled it off
Also, lyric video is a good idea.. she posted a regular video last time, so I am sure we will get the same!

They premire the song and music video and then 3246327683 months later the song is released with huge frontloaded sales and then drops down the charts as fast as a rocket
But at least the song got to #1

Most of my mates have LQ pitched, sped up youtube rips on their phones that they listen too
I'm mixed on the release to radio first strategy. IF they were to release it to radio first, and then there was just a lyric video on youtube.....that would be one thing.
but when they do radio first premieres, inevitably a decent quality version (not a radio-rip) leaks either the same day or the next, and then everyone downloads that. and I feel like that damages sales. so when it is finally available for download, casual fans might be like, "oh, I already have that."
I just thought of a concept... Imagine if the album cover was split in half.. one have her being naked and all in gold, the other half her being dressed up in that sexy witch looking gettup.. or maybe something else we haven't seen. It could be called then "changing faces"

I don't like Changing Faces tho.
Sometihing like 'Split Personality' or 'Schizophrenic' would be better imho for that idea
Perhaps it could be for a single cover? She already did another photoshoot for her record.
