Everyone's just quick to assume that Rachael was talking about the BBMA's just because she said "next weekend" and the BBMA's happen to be next weekend. And they also think this random picture that came out of nowhere serves relevancy without a single source
Why would Katy be releasing a single tomorrow with no promo or warning whatsoever. She literally just said last month that she is halfway finished with the album, so a single right now seems a bit far-fetched.. But we'll see I guess.
Well, why else would she reunite with Katy Perry... if she wasn't rehearsing for a performance? I don't care if it's at the BBMAs, or whatnot, doesn't this pretty much confirm an upcoming performance? The summer market is too big to pass up and Katy's been the queen of summer for the last 5 years, so I can totally see her releasing a surprise single out of nowhere. Remember, POM was technically out of nowhere, at least to the GP.
Bonnie has been teasing that her single is finally arriving soon.
Maybe our hopes of a Bonnie lead single feat Katy (with a BBMA premiere) aren't too unrealistic?
Bonnie confirmed this photo was of them working on something other than Katy's new album, so a Bonnie track featuring Katy seems inevitable.
Granted, I'm pretty sure Bonnie is releasing two hype singles (a la USG) before her actual lead single, so probably not. Sigh.

Well, I'm just putting in my two cents... the pieces don't seem to fit for me. I just don't believe she would release a single this early, when the album is half way finished. She said she doesn't have a time frame set on the album either, so if she doesn't even have a clue when the album will be finished, a single just doesn't seem reasonable right now... And with Part of Me, we already had confirmation that she was performing, and knowledge of the Complete Confection, so it made more sense. With this, there's no signs of her performing, we're not even 100% sure if she's attending, and the release date of the album is yet to be determined so I don't know. But obviously anything is possible so we'll just have to wait and see.
If this is any taste of what we can expect next era, then I am so ready
