It's not like she's go strictly country, anyways.. I'd love a country album though.

She's released pop/soul, pop/rock, pop/grunge, pop/mess, and straight up pop album. Pop/country is the only next logical step. And it's the BIGGEST demographic of people who buy albums, so I wouldn't complain as long as it's not traditional country.

I just LOL'ed at that description. AIEW kind of is a pop/mess. The songs are good but the album feels so sloppy on a full listen. It's ALL over the place, there's no real theme and it's just not cohesive. Some of the songs on that album are amongst her best, but overall the album is a mess.

No Edge. It's more than a voice so it means VOICES hence DUETS.

I do agree with you here. The songs on aiew are so radio friendly and good. but the album just don't do it for me when i listen to it as a whole. Stronger is a much more cohesiveness in terms of sounding and it fits the theme perfectly.

The lyrics are silly. The production is top notch. Stronger didn't deserve such masterpieces

Stronger is so basic compared to AIEW. The lead single from AIEW itself ***** on 80-90% of Stronger, depending on my mood.

How sexist? Kelly didn't mean that to be that way
You really must have Clive's and Navi's ears. I agree with you about AIEW, still that's the best rated Kelly album on Metacritic too bad that era was unsatisfying with promotion and management.

The production on IFY is "top-notch"?
Sis, the production on Alone, You Love Me, Dark Side, The War Is Over, Einstein, and yes even DBAGAI is top-notch. But IFY is as bland and unimaginative as you can get. It's like Darkchild didn't know how to produce a pop/rock song so he picked up some "For Dummies..." book and just threw it together. Completely by-the-numbers, just like much of AIEW.

STRONGER (ALBUM) ITUNES POSITION TRACKING
Bear in mind that every Tuesday, new albums are released on iTunes, so a drop is expected and is completely normal. Stronger usually climbs back to a higher position by the end of the week as the new releases drop. Also, don't look too much into the small increases or decreases (around ± 4 spots) because an album position usually fluctuates throughout the day. It's the bigger jumps (or falls ) that we're interested in!
Wednesday May 2, 2012 --> Stronger (deluxe) at #99 on iTunes albums. [Standard version not in top 200]
Thursday May 3, 2012 --> Stronger (deluxe) at #93 on iTunes albums. [Standard version not in top 200]
Friday May 4, 2012 --> Stronger (deluxe) at #90 on iTunes albums. [Standard version not in top 200]

Thanks for posting Taigan, have you been checking at the same team each day? I wonder if the positions tend to fluctuate a lot when it's that low or if we're really gonna see a small digital increase this week.

I actually read IFY as Einstein. But I still enjoy IFY.

She claims IICHY is dance. Maybe for the people living in Bumble****, North Dakota but it is absolutely not dance. I feel like she could have such a potential smash if she ever recorded a good dance/pop song with a DJ. Kelly + Afrojack.

I've been trying to check at the same approximate time every day. I'm always within the time window of two hours, and usually check back later to make sure the album hasn't shifted considerably.
I think we should see slightly higher sales this week (above 10,000) because, although I haven't recorded the position of Stronger from last week, I remember it wasn't even the top 100. However:
1) Like you said, this low on the chart, it may be the only a few hundred copies make a huge difference in the positions. So we can't expect a good amount of a difference in sales to occur.
2) As I'm looking at iTunes album sales (which are digital), I can't take into account the factors that affect physical album sales, such as discount deals that different wholesalers will have. It could be that the album rises on iTunes but falls in physical sales, so we can't be too sure of anything. Furthermore, the majority of sales are physical sales.
On the other hand, I still think it's worthy to look at the iTunes position, because if anything, it's showing us that the album still has some momentum going for it and is still in the public eye. We can compare how different sales are between when she has an official single/video out and when we're transitioning between songs. Not to mention, I hope we'll see small jumps every week once Duets is on
