I'm talking about performances in general, not her ARTPOP era ones. Her 2009 VMA performances still make countdown lists. No one blogs about Katys vocally shot performances (unless she's being racist in the process) nor Rihannas.

I think the impressive thing here is that she actually went for it, where as during the FF era she'd just jiggle her bingo wings, do a half-assed spin and call it a day.

This is my main problem with Britney perfomances. Why did they put backup dncers that are miles better than her. They make her look terrible. They should put them making another dance movements.

I will give her that. She can at least sound like her studio recording unlike Katy who can't even walk across a stage without running out of breath.
