The difference between now and then is that then Britney didn't need collabs or high profile names to get a hit, and now she needs a high profile feature to get played on the radio and with Tinashe who's like a D list it's not going to happen.
I don't think we're getting single two anytime soon. This rest period most of her dancers we chilling hanging out and preparing for a wedding. Rehearsals for videos take at least a week. Vegas is back on in like 3 days for another 6 weeks. She doesn't have much free time. Maybe this is just a one single era.
