It was already #2 in the weekly chart. Considering BoA was the only korean artist to go #1 (with only 1 song), that means Gee is already the 2nd most succesful song by a korean artist.



I expect Gee to be #1 in the weekly chart next week if no big releases are scheduled.

Until last year, no korean artist (except BoA) reached top 10 in Japan. (The highest was 4Minute's Muzik, #12 daily and #21 weekly).

This year we had:
KARA - Mister #2 daily #5 weekly
BIG BANG - Beautiful Hangover #4 daily #7 weekly
Girls' Generation - GENIE #2 daily #4 weekly
Girls' Generation - Gee #1 daily #2 weekly
