Can I please get advice? I don't understand this quality stuff! Like I understand AAC files and Mp3 but what's the best? like in order? so confused and I just want the best quality for this album when it leaks in full

Can't wait for a perfect HQ version, but to be fair, I hardly think you could call this 'low quality'. It's perfectly fine for now! And hopefully by this time tomorrow we might have the deluxe at 320 kbps

You won't really notice much of a difference between 320k CBR and 256k M4A.

Maybe with lossless, yes, but not if you're a casual listener, only if you're an audiophile.

Itunes quality is, honestly, ****.

I think I'd know if this was HQ or not, as for I produce music and have 200 dollar headphones . I automated all my sounds on this computer too....It sounds like it was recorded through something like audacity and then exported out.

The best quality you can get is on a CD, it's Lossless Flac or Wav.

File types are somewhat linked to quality, but not exactly. What you want, for best quality, are lossless files (FLAC, WMV, etc). Look 'em up. mp3 is, like, the worst.

Because it distorts a lot and the high end is snappy. Example, the super parts in Teen Idle, the S is very sssssssss

Odd, considering I downloaded Born To Die from iTunes and it was 320. Do you have iTunes Match?

Most of the songs from the rapid leak were near 240 quality. So whoever ripped this CD did a terrible job.

I agree...I mean even if we get a better quality one because someone rips it better off a CD/iTunes, it's still listenable and ISN'T LQ. It's at least medium quality.
