At the rate it's climbing, #1 keeps looking more & more likely (on iTunes). On the Hot 100, this will probably make at least a top 5 debut if it's going to sell as much as I think it will

Yes. If an artist releases a single on Monday, that means they get the full seven days to rack up sales. Meanwhile, Tuesday releases get only six days to do it.
Honestly I don't know why everybody doesn't release on Monday I heard once it's a timezone thing or something.
