I am so here for the cults, corruption and secret societies for AHS. It fits so well with a hotel as a setting. And the return to a darker theme. The critical acclaim is on its way.

I'm trying not to get excited.

But yeah, I don't really see Gaga signing on as the lead character for three seasons, unless they got ALL of the filming done in like July and August of each year.

I love everything about this. The cast, the plot, the dark and creepy tone (an Asylum tea).. but 3 seasons for Gaga?

I'm actually interested in those concepts. I wouldn't have thought of corrupt politicians in this scene at all, but it seems so fitting. I like it.

And mess, no. Filming goes from July to December.

On an off-topic note, does anyone ever associate the current characters with the actor's past characters and feel a bit at times?

I mean, you have Evan, who played a teenager and a frat boy who then goes on to seduce Angela, who was previously a centuries-old voodoo practitioner.

It's easy to disassociate actors from their characters, but at times like that, it's harder for me to disassociate the current characters from the past characters.

So I was banned when the announcement happened but I'm so, so happy. Never discussed FS on here because I didn't really want to get involved in the thread since it seemed pretty established and the fanbase for AHS seemed so knowledgeable while I merely watch the episodes and fangirl.

It's my favourite show though and I'm going to re-watch series 1-4 ready for Hotel. I was over the moon with the announcement that my fave would be in my fave show and the potential of her being not only one of the leads, but in the show for 3 seasons? And JL playing her older self? Done. Deceased.

I know I have a weird taste but the seasons for me go:

Freakshow > Asylum = Murder House >>> Coven

I need Kathy and Angela to get even bigger roles this year, I want Emma to have a character with a bit more backbone and it's time for Evan to play someone who isn't ****ed up, I feel. The latter 2 have become a little typecast within the show I feel, and it's time for a change.

Could you explain why you feel that way? I don't really understand the thought process behind that ranking.

Violin sonatas I, II, III & IV were used throughout Freak Show. IV was used a lot just as a subtle background song (such as in the scene between Jimmy & Maggie in Pink Cupcakes), and II was used a lot during scenes in the Morbidity Museum (the familiar parts start at like 0:50 or something like that). I or III was used in that scene with Gloria & the psychologist, along with some other places; I don't remember which was which.
