It's not about confidence, for what I've seen she's doing some kind of 'choreo' or moves and this kind of song requires so much vocal work she shouldn't even be moving.
Same thing happened last year with Israel's Mei, she always slayed the live performances of Same Heart but the Eurovision performance was just tragic.
I smell a similar case with Iceland this year.
Basically everyone were too busy going wtf over the dress to actually notice the rest of the performance.
