After finding out what Gaga did, I don't blame most of the Kats for giving up on the alliance, tbh. I mean, what can you do? We're all trying here, and then Gaga herself ruins everything by being needlessly shady to someone who likes (liked?) her.

I'm started to think that Gaga is that "secret mean girl" that Katy was talking about.

I really want Gaga to come back with something amazing, but she just continually does more and more to annoy me with each passing week. I hope artRAVE changes my mind about her, because it's not really liking her much at all right now, music or personality wise. This is coming from someone who considered Gaga their main fave for a year and a half, too. Deep down I'm still rooting for her.

It's so easy for the BTW stans to jump ship. They haven't been here since the start like me. I've been with Katy since I kissed a girl too so it's hard to shade her or hate her when her song is the first single I bought and got me into music.

My stanning for Gaga and Katy started with Just Dance and I Kissed A Girl, and I'm one of the stans that miss Fame Gaga. I miss OOTB Katy as well, but only for the personality mainly, the quality of her music has evolved from being really rough and raw (which has a lot of appeal to it, too) to being very polished and pop-perfect, which I must admit I enjoy probably too much. Whereas I wasn't fond of the direction Gaga took with ARTPOP at all. I didn't even have a problem with Born This Way, I thought it was a fantastic record.

ARTPOP is a great album with a few mediocre and bad tracks. It is better than anything an popgirl released last year but I guess I can do nothing with you not liking it.

To be really honest you can compare and contrast Gaga and Katy all you like but they're actually very different artists who just happen to both be popular, and women, so naturally they're pitted against each other. We all need to step back occasionally and think about how unimportant pop music is. It doesn't really matter of Gaga pokes fun at her, and likewise.
