The thing is: she has one of the most (if not THE most) solid discographies of all-time. Even her less appealing body of work is still top notch.
I LOVE the controversial /\/\/\Y/\ (I'm pretty much a sucker for M.I.A. and everything she does tho

), but it is indeed her most questionable record. Lovalot, Steppin Up, Teqkilla, Story to be Told, Caps Lock, Internet Connection, Illygirl >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. Then we got It Iz What It Iz, Tell Me Why, the average It Takes A Muscle and the you-need-to-be-in-a-specific-mood tune (Meds and Feds).
Kala takes the crown cause every single beat and every single concept and every single layer of every single song... Ugh! Too damn much. Feels like heaven, feels like a crazy-hot-neon-fluorescent-disturbing-super-colorful-gorgeous print from a Medium East tissue, if you know what I mean.
Matangi is all about my soul being pushed left and right and back and forth and up up away we go, aw Lord. Every song is a trip. The girl slayed us with album of the year all over again. No need to think twice.
Now I'm too tired to talk about the good sis Arular, but let's just say that Sunshowers is one of my favorite songs ever.
Kala > Matangi = Arular > /\/\/\Y/\.
