But notice how Bobby wasn't exactly getting bad press before he got with Whitney, and same with Whitney; she wasn't get bad press before Bobby Brown came into the picture. Both were dependent on each other. Whitney said that to Oprah I believe. She never blamed Bobby for her problems.

I'm glad she had a good sense of perspective. Love makes you do strange things and drugs are addictive but in the end she was still a grown woman responsible for the consequences of her own decisions.

Well in all honestly, they could have easily played Whitney when you guys weren't listening.

Z100 is a big pop radio though, they would definitely play Whitney.

Local radio stations though are a totally different story.

Well, she started smoking/doing crack in the time when Bobby came into her life. When it comes to drugs, it's quite easy to get addicted, even if you make your own decisions. Kids are taught to not use drugs in their early stages. When they grow up, others encourage them and say things like "one time won't kill you". Next thing you know, they become
extremely addicted. And don't forget, Whitney grew up in a religious family.

Edit: I do agree that she is in charge of her life, so I'll say it's both of their faults.

Please stop trying to place blame. There's really nothing that can be changed about how everything went down in Whitney's life at this point, and we don't even know how she died.

Can We talk about I Look to You? I mean, it wasn't the grand comeback album that everyone wanted but it was a SOLID contemporary R&B album. I love practically every song expect for the latter of "A Song For You".

The title track and I Didn't Know My Own Strength are really appropraite right now.
