To all supporting the killings, be in the position of a parent, spouse AND child.

A parent: because their child had gone before them, when it should be the other way around.

A spouse: someone you were meant to spend the rest of your life had their life end.

A child, not just a child, but a very young one: they lost a parent. They lost someone they call "daddy" and can't run happily into their arms when they come home or something goes wrong. Not only that, but they're learning the hard way about life at a very young age because someone shot their father because the suspects seem to have made a generalization that all cops are bad, when the child's father was minding his own business, harming no one.

Imagine being in these kinds of positions. If you still feel nothing, I'm sorry you feel that way.

I'm tired of it. May be a little insensative to say but damn white people are the reason certain communities can't process. White people act so afraid of non-whites but they fail to realize it's because of them that races cant progress. It's just sad and frustrating because this is clearly an aftermath of police brutality. These snipers did absolutely nothing but make things worse and yet this is what's going to happen if killer cops are protected.

We have to break the cycle somewhere. And that definitely has to include cops. Like someone said, they have to do more than close ranks and protect their bad apples when things like this happen.

The US has many issues, but when you look at the whole picture and the long-term dynamic it's clearly still functioning.

I don't consider China and Russia as functioning countries (yet). When I mentioned Asian countries I was thinking of Japan or South-Korea.

Even before colonization, many places in Africa were torn with inter-tribal fighting with the strongest tribes selling the members of the weakest tribes as slaves, either abroad or elsewhere on the continent. Intra-african slave trade reduced about 14 million people into slavery between the 6th and the 19th century. It was hardly la-la land.

Not at all. I've never believed for one second in the US' self proclaimed world police rhetoric. We go to other countries to help "free" their people and help them fight their battles while doing nothing for our own. For a lot of cases, I feel like we should mind our damn business. How are you trying to clean someone else's house when yours is dirty?

Don't get me wrong, I believe that we should provide medical and emergency disaster relief to those who need it when those tragedies happen, however policing up other's governments...come on son. FIX OURS FIRST!
