Same. Kenya wasn't even that bad her first season just a bit over the top and I re-watched Season 5 recently. I think Phaedra really affected how people viewed Kenya with her constant smear campaign she made people not like her. Kenya honestly never did anything worth the hate she gets. Yeah she can be annoying and messy sometimes but all of them are annoying and messy. I think Kenya is entertaining without her this show would be a snooze fest plus she's nice to look at.

Yeah she wasn't bad. She was over the top and the pageant queens already have a bad stigma with being out of touch so it didn't help but I could tell she was smart. I think people put on their first season.

Although I disagree with kim often, I do like how she can hold her own against kenya. If Kim was a villain she'd be the only one able to get the best of Kenya. It wouldn't be easy but she can do it. the only other capable one was phaedra and kenya bested her so there goes that.
to be real, Kenya was TRYING it with pushing apollo into the pool. It wouldn't merit hate but a sideeye like girl.
But Apollo was worse for pulling up her up and throwing her in like they were a couple or something.
Phaedra is like most women in the urban culture. They blame the other woman more than they blame the guy. She did go on a campaign but she took something that was inappropriate but not to the point of hate and went with that as her platform.
the problem is that phaedra's facade unraveled as Apollo is not smart.
After Phaedra and Nene conspired with phaedra to come for Kenya at the reunion. Kenya got attacked and I believe she made production revisit the apollo story and production forced him to come clean about his lie before he got locked up to undo some of the damage Phaedra's smear campaign did.
Since then, Phaedra's life has been flipped upside. the once happy to tell you how much coinage she can laid down on any item is now bothered by todd wanting all of his money because she has babies to feed and apollo's expensive lawyer bills to pay for.
phaedra is remaining married to apollo until this angela stanton thing is resolved. She doesn't want him ratting her out.
So egg on Phaedra's face and it backfired and Kenya came out on top and it's Kandi and Kenya as the HBICs of RHOA.
It works because they both know it's an ensemble cast so the team work is there and not the division over petty mess.
Why is she even on the show? The most boring housewive EVER.
