This double standard is so nauseating to me. Pia gets **** every week because she sings ballads, but all Scotty EVER sings are snoozy country crooners - yet he gets absolutely no criticism for his total lack of versatility! At least Pia has the potential to branch out and be versatile; Scotty doesn't have a chance in Hell of doing anything BESIDES what he does (which he does with extreme mediocrity, IMO).

Proof of that is last week's performance. He stepped out of his comfort zone just a little bit and it resulted in his worst performance.
