I'd still like to hear what Katie and Drip thought of it even though I'm deservedly a flop this week.

Well, this is most certainly the best work I've seen you do in this game. I've never heard any of these songs but they're all wonderful, and each brings something different to the table. My favorite part about this trinity is that each song is just as visually stunning as it is sonically stunning. Excellent.

Thanks for the warning, yours had more trippy lyrics or more "out there" words, so I like the different approach.

LordT, "Act Of Contrition" is so f**ked up, I love it. "Shut Up and Let Me Go" and "Madness" are two songs I did not expect to see, but yet they really, really do fit. The literal interpretation you did for this round worked well, it was a risk worth taking! A very diverse and "trippy" trinity.

Fabulous. These are the mellow transcending kinds of songs that fit perfectly for the category. They weren't too expected but they also weren't too out of the box. Great work.

This was an interesting take; a very multi-faceted trinity, I must admit. I can't say I'm thoroughly impressed, but that's probably just because my ideal vision of trippy is different than yours. I like the way you interpreted this, but it maybe could have been a bit stronger. The QOTSA track was definitely the highlight.

A drug-related theme seems quite appropriate for this round - it wasn't easy to do without being tacky but you tackled it well, so very nice work. I don't know if I'm so convinced that these songs are as "trippy" as I expected, I feel like they're all more visually psychedelic than the audio itself. Still pretty trippy, though, so good work.

I love that your trinities are always true to your music taste, I feel like I've learned a lot about you as a music listener in this game. The odd song out in here is "Venus", don't know if it's really that trippy... but that "Beat Down" was exceptional, and I was praying to see Yeezus once or twice. Not half bad, nice work.

These were kinda stronger sounding trippy songs. Other people went more mellow and transcendent but these were more in your face about it. It's an original spin.

Sweet, I like this a lot. All the songs are definitely songs I would consider choosing. I know it's good to be minimal and what not, but you might benefit from writing a bit more to describe your choices. Still, good work.

These were probably the more obvious choices. I pretty much figured we'd see Christina iamam. Bjork and Sky are also gimmes but that doesn't mean the trinity is any less trippy.

I like Kerli, but that song is unbearable. Ashtrays & Heartbreaks is really not even trippy, a Bangerz song would've been better than that (and I was fearing people using Bangerz). Days Go By is the saving grace of this trinity, amazing choice. A few extra brownie points for the diversity.

No, but really, the Golden and Flop Trinities were such close calls for this round. Dangerously close.

Golden Trinity First place
I've never been first before I can't even remember the last time I was first in a challenge in any game!
Our decision for the Golden Trinity was hard, but we had to knock out the contestant who posed the biggest threat.
