Spankin' New Music Week was always a great time in November. 1999 was probably the biggest [and best] one with Will [Smith] TV, Mariah [Carey] TV, Rage [Against the Machine] TV, [Dr.] Dre TV and Korn TV. I had to look through TRL by Sarah's archives for some of those. Also, you would never see TRL premiere [I'm sorry, "First Look"] a video from almost any of these artists nowadays: Beastie Boys, Beck, Sisqó, Nas, Metallica and Jewel. The last time I watched SNMW was in 2003 with P.O.D., OutKast, blink-182, etc. and I don't even remember them having one for the past few years. TRL wouldn't be able to get anybody HUGE [one or two annoying "club bangers" on the Hot 100 isn't huge] nowadays, let alone anybody worth watching for, so eh.

Give It To You by Eve is great. Whine Up is an OK debut, it's a pretty old song, it's definitely a summer jam. Love Story didn't debut, but I figured it wouldn't.

They'll still be there, but the MTV.com staff are too lazy to put more than 2-3 sentence for each day on the schedule.

The premieres/first looks are great, but at 50 Cent's 4th video within a couple of months!
