The 4 singles you named were WW #1's. Justin isn't an Usher to have his songs hit #1 in States and struggle going top 20 WW. He has had the same amount of worldwide #1's as Chris and Usher combined, times three. Three of the biggest singles of all-time are his songs. The only artists with more WW #1's are Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and George Michael. That should tell you something.

– but no really the song wasn’t about their break-up at all, it was just misinterpreted and coincidental that they broke up when this was released. The controversy definitely helped the success of the song and the amazing album. I personally prefer and loved Part I more, but part II is still great and made entertainment.
