So I just finished season 5 today and it was good but not nearly as good as past seasons. It didn't have me captivated nearly as much. I don't know why they always seem to get rid of Sheila she's literally one of the best things about the show. Also Mickey saying out loud that he is Ian's boyfriend kills me
Actually, his storyline is what carried the last season. If you read IMDB, most of the people pointed that out. Anyway, You can tell Cameron hates playing gay. I think he hates the character Ian period and wants out. I'm okay with that because I loathe actors who play gay, especially when I know they hate it. I don't think Cam. is essential to the role of Ian, so they can just hire a look alike.
I think last season was pretty obvious that some big characters were leaving. This is a showtime show, right? they usually **** shows up by the 4,5 season. Look at Weeds and Nurse Jackie.
I feel like Shameless will last longer than Gotham, but that Shameless will be cancelled soon as well. I can't see it going past 7 seasons.
