Rihanna needs a Bedtime Stories type of Album.

Something warm, contemporary, more mature, and laid back that can give her a little more artistic credit.

This doesn't mean it has to be ballad heavy but something that's just enjoyable without having to be extremely light and colorful, ratchet, or even dark.

I think A full R&B/Pop crossover album like Lov7e Song, Skin, TAB type of songs would be great for her.

Slightly off-topic but I agree.

I was once more active but I felt I was putting too much time into being on the internet checking for her all the time and not focusing on building up my own accomplishments as well.

My love will never change for Rih but I think it's important as her fans we also not live through her on the internet and just support her and focus less on the "stanning" Internet competition with other fanbases.

All that other **** takes away from our main focus which is Rihanna and supporting her endeavors.

I don't like 4 but the neo soul and contemporary feel of it is interesting
Rated R is more appealing to me since its so raw and unfiltered. It shows many different sides to Rih and some of the songs resonate with me since I was also going through a tough time when that album came out

It makes you an honest, unbiased fan.
I honestly love 4, but it's just not comparable to Rated R.
Although 4 has a quite boring theme, it is consistent throughout the whole album.
Rated R has some masterpieces, but then you spot some High School tween girl lyrics like 'girl if they get you they get me' or the robotic 'Photographs' that is meant to feel like a heart breaking ballad.

"4" is by far my fave Bey album. It's full of masterpieces. But I think "Rated R" is better and It was ground breaking for Rihanna's career. The idea + story behind it is way more interesting.

Do any of you own "Rihanna", that photo book ? Well, I own it and it says that Rih wanted to create her own dystopia with "Rated R". I also LOVED the videos and the whole dark vibe.
