because they basically only ever listen to those/other obvious female pop artists, yeah
the one major japanese category didn't even have TVXQ's "OCEAN" which was one of the highest selling Hallyu singles of the year so
I mean
I guess they never claimed to be fair or unbiased, but it would be better if they were.

Not everything is about sales and charts and sales or else we'd have AKB48 dominating every category but of course this is ATRL where quality means nothing.

You're right.
It's not about sales.
TVXQ put out one of the most quality singles of the summer that was also successful, THUS GIVING IT VISIBILITY, and you chose to ignore it for...some reason.
Listen, I get it. "Male artists are boring," etc. I've seen the attitudes from everyone on this website. But nobody is going to try those male artists or get exposed to ones that they might actually like if we keep doing this.
Frankly, I was shocked and PLEASED that acts like Saknaction and One OK Rock were included. I think that's fantastic! The hip-hop nominees were also a pretty diverse set - I would know, as I'm the one presenting them! I just think that if we're going to use a platform like this, we could do with a bit of exposure for something that's not "Bunny Style" for the 10th time, okay?
I appreciate what everyone is doing with the show, otherwise I wouldn't be participating in its production, silly. I just don't think it's cute that I get told off or ignored when I try to mention these things even in a calm or non-confrontational manner; it's why I end up getting aggravated and confrontational. If you just gave me the time of day once and a while, it wouldn't be such an issue.

For god's sake, you're making a big deal out of something that didn't even happen.
TVXQ! was nom for both, Song with "Ocean" and album with "TIME", whoever was presenting made a mistake by reading the ALBUM category instead of the Song one, and ended up playing 2PM instead of TVXQ!.
We couldn't fix it during the show since it was kinda rushed and we needed to end it before 5AM
Now chill and go vote please.

I can understand your frustration but also try to understand not everyone's favorites can make the list. Some will make it some won't. Many people helped us to nominate the J/K-Pop and J-Pop categories.
For the record, I just want to say I appreciate everyone's contribution to the awards so far. I think it's awesome that so many of you helped out choose nominees or present/host.
