About the Met Gala in a few days Katy had this to say:

Katy Perry says she'll be wearing an "original punk" inspired dress to Monday's Met Gala.

The singer discussed what she is wearing to the prestigious event which will be held on Monday in New York City.

Katy was careful not to spill too many secrets, but did give some hints about the overall look of the dress she's chosen.

"I can't give too much away, but I picked it out right when it debuted on the runway," Katy told the Cut. "I contacted the designer right away. I've known I'd wear it for a couple of months now. [One little hint?] It will definitely be me. Let's just say, I'll be an original punk. I love a theme!"

Reading that 'Who will be influenced by ARTPOP first" thread, and god. I honestly believe some of those Gaga fans have never seen or heard Katy Perry anywhere other than in threads accusing her of copying Gaga. How can someone seriously look at Katy and see Gaga influences?

Trying to imply Gaga is Katys main influence when Katy released music first, and whos current image is like the opposite of anything Gaga has ever done.
