That's because you get the song for free when you pre-order the album so it wouldn't lose sales during the album release week and 4 versions of pt. 2 are available. It will take off digitally once promo finally kicks in. They should have released the song as a single on iTunes already.
Do you think they will realese it just as a single? That's what they should do by now

I don't know why they haven't done it yet. Or at least the radio edit. Nothing on iTunes implies that it's the lead single. The album got a banner but not the song.

at this becoming a legitimate hit on the format yet still not charting on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs or R&B Songs.
Since Take Back The Night already made both charts, I choose to believe that my threatening emails worked.
What did you say in your email about Mirrors?
Even the first half of the song fhat is more "pop" is more in tune with contemporary R&B than some of these songs that have been allowed to chart like #Beautiful, Almost Home, and Next To Me
I wonder if it will even chart on Streaming Songs. Daylight failed to chart there and it spent only one week on On-Demand Songs at #40. I think they were affected a lot by the latest rule change. Daylight dropped out of the top 10 and never returned when streaming was added to the formula (7-13) even though it was still growing on radio, while One More Night was just outside the top 20 and plummeted to barely top 40 (21-34.)
