Also, TS4 will never beat TS2
Not in terms of quality, nor in terms of expansion sales since TS2 sold 13m+ across all consoles, which TS4 still lacks support for

The Sims 3 sold 7.8M after 6 years. The Sims 4 sold 5 million after 19 months. And is still selling strong.
No Sims game will ever touch The Sims or The Sims Bustin Out.
The Sims 2 sold 13 million on all platforms, but those were different games with the same name. The Sims 2 on PC sold 6 million after 8 years, which The Sims 4 again, is about to beat.
The Sims 4 excells in a lot of areas over the previous games, people just cant see past the few things it doesn't.
The Sims 4 is like The Sims Bustin Out's Cousin, which was EXTREMELY popular back in the day. Compare The Sims 4 to that and The Sims 4 is a better version of that.
It's going to fall short to 2 and 3, because The Sims 4 focuses on the gameplay of the "Roots" of the franchise, not what it became.
Bustin Out is the "Roots" as well as the first game. That was the when the franchise was huge, and The Sims 4 seems to be following the success of the original games.
