I watched the Babadook yesterday best horror movie I've seen in ages. The babadook represents grief and not being able to deal w/it, it makes so much sense! The book scenes had my skin literally crawling
It's not meant to be nonstop action and death scenes anyway, that's one of the main reasons it's so highly acclaimed. If you can't enjoy a movie that's heavy on atmosphere then I'm sorry you have narrow taste.
yet again the audience/user score is lower than the "Acclaim" score. Witch bye, I knew it wasn't going to be like a cliche horror but at least be creative in your climax and build up. Also the characters, the main chick is so bland like Kristen Stewart in Twilight. The atmosphere was just dull and weak overall. If you watched Starry Eyes it's way more intriguing than this snoozefest. It actually has character development and such a gory climax with an open conclusion.
I do agree with what BoyLikeYouSuxx says about this film. Truly y'all are whims to IF
I finally got around to watching the Silent Hill films earlier this week, and I'm kind of obsessed with them now.
The entire concept of this town being a personal hell, a dark dream brought into reality, is really fascinating for me.
