so the rolling effect has no effect on ROAR on the Hot 100. That's only for mediabase. It's a different system and way of calculating the airplay.

Yes there's a rolling effect. Ask Madonna lol GMAYL had a HUGE rolling effect & her charting position suffered from it.
With your example, you're saying that if Katy got 50 million Audience Impressions and then the next day lost 10 million Audience Impressions she would still be at 50 million Audience Impressions?!?!?!? THE DELUSION!
She had a radio deal for 7 days. She will have to deal with 3 days of the rolling effect for this weeks airplay. Still, even with that rollback effect I firmly believe Katy can dethrone "Blurred Lines" on sales alone... kinda like Carrie Underwood dethroned "We Belong Together" during WBT's radio gridlock!
