Yeah I've never actually beaten the game before The last time I tried I got up to the Mandragoras fight and they completely stomped me and I quit. My Ashe solo run lasted up until the Viera forest I think. I got the Zodiac Spear so it's not like there was going to be much of a challenge tho.
I miss doing solo runs though aw. MOMO solo (Xenosaga) is my favorite so far.
I loved XII but i never finished it, i actually had to play through the game twice cuz my memory card was corrupted or something
Fran tho>>>>

Did any of you play Dark Cloud I and II's secret dungeons?
MESS.
And Meowster, sis, the final bosses aren't even that hard? Hell Wyrm, Yiazmat, and the higher Espers were much tougher.
Dark Cloud is.. dated but it has that early PS2 RPG charm that was just so gorgeous. Wonderful soundtrack too. I loved helping sort the towns back to how they originally were. The party members were fun, was more than just Max & Monica.
She had a Princess costume and I was so pissed I couldn't get it I think all you could do in the main game was change her hairband with some party member.
Also, did anyone play the Summoner series? I bought the first one on Steam a couple of weeks ago and the second one is one of my fave games of all time
I'm 10-20 hours away from 100% completing FFX. I'm just collecting spheres to finish maxing out my stats, and then I'll defeat Nemesis, the dark aeons, Penance and then the final boss. This game took so much grinding.
I spent 30 hours on the story, but I'll have spent ~90 hours getting the celestial weapons, capturing 10 of each fiend and completing everyone's sphere grids at the Monster Arena.
The aeons are fun to use, and the female ones (Shiva, Anima, Magus Sisters) slay. The male ones all suck except Yojimbo and maybe Bahamut (when taught Haste).
I hope Shiva returns for FFXV. There's been speculation that Bahamut and Ifrit are making a return.
After I finish FFX HD, I think I'm going to do FFX-2 HD, the XIII trilogy and then IX, in that order, with NieR as a break inbetween if I get tired. This is going to keep me occupied until at least June or July.
There are tips and tricks to the lightning dodging that make it significantly easier. The only truly hard things, in my opinion, were the goddamn chocobo race and beating Yunalesca (though I think I was underleveled). The game is more of a test of patience and will.
I spent four damn hours racing the chocobo trainer.
Every mini game in FFX is annoying af no thank you
Thank god I'm playing it using the Pcsx2 + help from FFXED
Btw, Tidus and Yuna are ugly af in the remaster
