To keep it short : LiveNation always keep an eye on the tickets sales. Based on it, they offer a certain number of tickets (in this case 7,345). If all those tickets are sold = the show is sold out. If the tickets start doing better they add more.
That's how it works with most of major stars.

They only use Madonna to drag Gaga, the fact that Gaga will gross 85M with less than 100 dates and with underpeforming album is something you can't drag, specially if your fav failed to do that despite having 100+ dates and countless hits and #1s

I really don't think the tour was that bad because the album wasn't such a huge succes. But it is a huge difference with the last tour... I have a feeling that her management needed to concentrate the tour in North America, West-Europe and a lot in Asia where the album was a huge succes. But the tour was great! (I attended it)

Why is Sweden's boxscore missing? It's weird how that wasn't reported since that show wasn't part of a festival like the Canadian and South Korean ones.
