What do you think that scene particularly means? I thought at first she was questioning about whether she should get an abortion or not, then she brought up the drugs thing and I was like
i've always thought she was talking about Jason... idk anymore
When they ask her if she is the only girl there she says yes.. and then when she sees herself in the window, that reminds her of her sister. Thats probably why started crying.

Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: How Long Has Toby Been on the “A” Team?
On the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 summer finale (Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer”), we finally found out who the betrAyer is: Toby (Keegan Allen). Once we got over our initial shock, we had one big question stuck in our heads: How long has Toby been on the “A” team?
Let’s take a look back at some of the signs Toby has been on the “A” team from the very beginning.
Alison always hated Toby. Even before “the Jenna (Tammin Sursok) thing,” Alison (Sasha Pieterse) didn’t like Toby at all. Early on, she suspected him of spying on her and the Liars from his treehouse. Blinding Jenna started as a prank to scare Toby with firecrackers (unless you theorize that Alison was targeting Jenna all along), so the Liars were against him from the very start of the show.
Toby made a mix CD for Emily. In Season 1, Toby started out as Emily’s (Shay Mitchell) semi-secret friend. In Season 1, Episode 4: “Can You Hear Me Now?”, Toby makes a stalker-y mix CD for Emily, complete with a drawing of her on the cover. Looking back, that may have been the second sign (after the spying) that Toby was a stalker-in-training.
Toby’s tattoo. We’ve all come to believe Toby’s story about his tattoo, “9/01 Free at Last.”He claims that it’s the day he ended his incestuous relationship with younger step-sister Jenna. But it also happens to be the day that Alison disappeared. Now that we know Toby isn’t trustworthy, his tattoo might really signify the day he killed Alison, and felt free from her bullying ways for the first time.
Ali blackmailed Toby. In Season 1, Episode 6: “There’s No Place Like Homecoming,” Hanna (Ashley Benson) gets Toby’s file from a psychiatrist, which reveals that Ali had tortured Toby by blackmailing him. She said that if he ever told anyone she and the Liars were responsible for blinding Jenna, she would release evidence that he was involved with Jenna sexually.
The bloody sweater. Remember that sweater? The Liars (and later the police) realize that Alison was wearing Toby’s bloody sweater on the night she died, based on the final video of Ali. He claimed that he’d first met Alison that night and given her the sweater because she was cold, but how can we believe him now?
Toby was publicly shamed because of the Liars. After the sweater and video were used to put Toby in police custody, he spent the rest of the year as a recluse, made fun of and abused by the entire town of Rosewood. It seems perfectly natural for him to blame the Liars.
The hockey stick. In Season 2, Episode 7: “Surface Tension,” Toby is the one who “finds” the broken hockey stick buried in the Hastings’s yard. Could this have been an early diversion tactic on Toby’s part? To point the blame for Alison’s murder away from him and the “A” team?
His sudden ability to find Dr. Sullivan. In the Season 2 finale (Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked”), Toby finally materialized and brought the missing Dr. Sullivan with him to Mona’s crash site. How did he find her so easily, unless he’d been part of the team who kidnapped her in the first place?

Pretty Little Liars Speculation: 5 Reasons Why Toby Might Hate the Liars
The big reveal that Toby (Keegan Allen) is on the “A” team was one of the most shocking moments in Pretty Little Liars history. On the Season 3 summer finale (Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer”), all of our feelings about Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) leading man changed in an instant. Why would he want to torture, attack, and attempt to murder the Liars?
We’ve written up our own ideas on how long Toby has been working with “A”, but let’s review all the possible reasons he could have for being on the team in the first place.
Alison. As fans know, Alison (Sasha Pieterse) claimed that Toby was spying on her and her friends in Season 1. As a result, the Little Liars were always suspicious of him, and suspected him of killing Ali early on. We never actually got definitive proof that Toby had been spying on the girls, but Alison was powerful enough to turn her friends against him with that one claim. Toby (and the “A” team) could hate Ali’s friends merely by extension, or because they think the Liars are just like her.
The Jenna Thing. Alison got the Liars to pull a prank with her at the Cavanaughs’ house, which became known as “the Jenna thing.” Alison said they were going to throw firecrackers at Toby and Jenna (Tammin Sursok) while they were making out in their garage, which ended up blinding Jenna. If Toby is still in love with Jenna, or if he was just deeply wounded by such a vicious attack, we could see why he would want to hurt Ali and the Liars in return.
Turning him into a social pariah. Even if Toby only hated Alison in the beginning, it would be completely understandable if he began hating the Liars after his bloody sweater was discovered by the police, sending him to jail. Since the sweater was found at Ali’s house, he probably figured it was the Liars who turned it in. After the evidence turned out to be corrupted, Toby was mocked in public everywhere he went, and little kids even threw stones at him.
They know about him and Jenna. We don’t know how, but Alison somehow found out about Toby and Jenna’s sexual relationship in the past. That’s how she bought his silence after the firecrackers incident, by threatening to go public with the information. But she did tell the Liars. If the Liars are the only ones who know about it (and especially if Toby is still in love with Jenna and wants to eventually go public with her), then he would want to keep them silent at all costs.
Emily’s rejection early on. It’s a long shot, but Toby seemed to have his sights set on Emily (Shay Mitchell) at the start of the show. He even made her a mix CD. But Emily, obviously, was never going to reciprocate romantic feelings, and this may have turned an already mentally disturbed head case into a mentally disturbed head case with a target.
What else can you think of?

VIDEO: Why Does Jason Refer to Alison in the Present Tense?
Wetpaint Entertainment thinks they may have picked up a giant clue in the latest "Pretty Dirty Secrets" webisode - it seems Jason refers to Alison in the present tense! They don't elaborate, so we're not sure which line they're referring to, but it might be "you two really deserve each other.."
Pretty Little Liars Spoiler: We'll Learn More About Toby's Mom
We found out in 2x12 "The First Secret" that Toby's Mother passed away a year prior to the events in the Halloween episode. A fan recently asked showrunner Marlene King via Twitter, "Will we ever find out more about Toby's mommy?" Marlene gave a straight-forward answer: "Yes."
Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Can We Trust Dr. Sullivan on Pretty Little Liars?
It looks like Dr. Anne Sullivan will be back in the Pretty Little Liars Season 3 winter season, and we're far from convinced that's good for the girls.
Dr. Sullivan seems well intentioned, but we all know that no one can be trusted in Rosewood. For some reason, this psychiatrist sets off all sorts of warning bells for us, and that's more true than ever now that we know Toby (Keegan Allen) is on the "A" team.
Here are three reasons we don't trust Dr. Sullivan.
1. Toby is the one who brought her back. In Season 2 Dr. Sullivan disappeared, only to be brought back to Rosewood just in time for Mona's (Janel Parrish) capture. Who brought her back? Oh, you know, just Toby (Keegan Allen). Assuming Toby was part of the "A" team back then, we feel like this can't be a coincidence. And if it's not a coincidence, it very well might mean Dr. Sullivan was working to help the "A" team.
2. Blackmail. In Season 2 we saw Dr. Sullivan being threatened by "A", so it seems hard to believe she's actively part of the "A" team (unless the main "A" was punishing her for being out of line?). However, she also admitted to the girls that "A" was blackmailing her into staying away, by threatening her son. She claimed Toby's courage inspired her to come back anyway, but now that we know Toby is part of the "A" team, we have to wonder if maybe she was still under duress when she said that. Perhaps she was moved less by Toby's bravery than by his threats. If so, she very well could still be under the "A"' team's thumb.
3. She's the one who diagnosed Mona. Dr. Sullivan was the person who diagnosed Mona with the personality disorder that landed her in Radley instead of jail. As we've seen this season, Mona can still do a lot of damage from inside (and outside!) Radley's walls. Was Dr. Sullivan purposefully doing her a favor when she declared her insane?
Some people have actually speculated that Dr. Sullivan is Toby's mom (who, yes, we've heard is dead, but hey, that could be a lie), which would add a whole new level to the idea that her son is being blackmailed.
What do you think? Can we trust Dr. Sullivan?

'Ask Ausiello' Hints at Pretty Little Liars Halloween Cliffhangers!
"The sudsy smash returns Oct. 23 with a standalone Halloween episode that picks up a few weeks after last week’s summer finale left off. “It takes place on a train and it’s really a wonderful episode,” raves EP Oliver Goldstick. “The costumes are just brilliant. We pulled out all the stops.” Bonus scoop: The ‘ween-themed hour will ends with a doozy of a cliffhanger."
Pretty Little Liars Burning Question: Why Did "A" Target Spoby?
After we learned that Toby (Keegan Allen) is part of the "A" team on Pretty Little Liars Season 3 summer finale (Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer”), one question that immediately popped into our heads was, "Wait, then why was "A" targeting Spoby so hard?"
Of all the PLL relationships, Spoby has arguably been the most harassed. For example, in Season 2 Toby had a brush with death thanks to some loosened scaffolding, and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) was threatened into breaking up with him.
Why, if Toby is in league with the "A" team, would they target his relationship, and even him, specifically? We have a couple of theories.
1. It was an easy way to harass Spencer. If part of the goal of the "A" team is to make the Liars unhappy, messing with their relationships is an obvious way to go. If Toby has been a committed member of the team all along, that would make the Spoby relationship an easy target, because he would be able to subtly push Spence away — or at least not fight for her to stay as hard as he would if it were a real relationship. In this scenario, we imagine the scaffolding was all part of a plan Toby was in on — if he knew it was coming, he could purposefully fall in a way that wouldn't permanently injure him.
2. They needed an excuse for Toby to skip town. This is the same idea as our first theory, but with an added layer. After Spence broke up with Toby he skipped town, and went and found Dr. Sullivan. If bringing Sullivan back was part of the "A" team plan, then maybe they orchestrated the breakup specifically to give Toby an obvious reason to be MIA.
3. Toby was falling for Spencer. One possible version of events that we like a lot is that Toby started dating Spencer as part of an "A" plan, but then legitimately began to fall for her. If this is the case, maybe the "A" team messed with Spoby to send a message to Toby as well as Spencer. After all, we're guessing the "A"s don't approve of their members falling in love with Liars. The scaffolding could have been their way of telling him to stay in line.
4. Toby is a double agent. Some fans still cling to the hope that Toby joined the "A" team more recently, in an attempt to take them down from the inside. Cryptic comments from the show's producers make it sounds like this is a less-than-likely possibility, but if it does turn out to be true then it's possible Toby hadn't even joined the team back when Spoby was being targeted the most.

“Pretty Little Liars” fans, we all know that the summer finale wasn’t so pretty.
In the finale, Tyler Blackburn‘s character Caleb takes a bullet, and was rushed to the ER for emergency surgery just as credits rolled on the episode.
The torturous task for “Pretty Little Liars” fans is to wait until the Halloween Special in October to find out if Caleb will survive, or meet his maker.
But SPOILER ALERT PLL fans! On Air with Ryan Seacrest can officially leak that Tyler revealed to one of our staffers that his character Caleb will in fact survive and stay on the show.
We can be relieved for now, but how long will all of our favorite characters stay afloat? Stay tuned to RyanSeacrest.com for the latest updates on the show!
Troian Bellisario on Toby as A: "You Can't Put Much Past Spencer For Very Long" - Exclusive
The big “A” reveal in the Season 3 summer finale (Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer”) of Pretty Little Liars was shocking to everyone, but not really Troian Bellisario (Spencer). Apparently, Troian and Marlene had the whole reveal planned for months!
Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Troian at the Project Runway fashion show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City today (September 7) to talk about Toby, the “A” team, and the upcoming Halloween episode.
Wetpaint Entertainment: What was your first reaction when you found out Toby was A? Troian Bellisario: I was actually able to squeeze it out of Marlene King a long time ago, so we both had our fingers crossed hoping it would pan out, that the network would let us do it. But I never got a script. They saved it from the cast and the plan had been to shoot several different people as A. But when I found out who it was actually going to be I was very happy.
Do you think Spencer will catch onto Toby at some point?
Do I think or do I know? We’re already filming! I can’t say much, but I can tell you Spencer’s a very smart girl and you can’t put much past her for very long.
Now that we know one of the boyfriends is A, does that open up the possibility of the Liars being part of the A team?
It depends if Toby is actually part of the A team. A lot of people think he’s a double agent. But yeah, I think it could open up the possibility of the girls infiltrating and exposing A.
What are Spencer and Toby’s costumes in the Halloween episode, are they Bonnie and Clyde?
It’s kind of close to Bonnie and Clyde. My costume was actually based on Lauren Bacall and his was Humphrey Bogart. But we thought that might be too old of a reference, so we just did a general film noir idea.
How will the Halloween episode this year differ from years past?
It’s really exciting because last year’s was a flashback episode and this year is happening in real time. So you’ll be dealing with current relationships, current problems and a current A. It’s very exciting, we’ve never done anything like it. We spent a lot of time and energy on it. It’s going to be really, really fun.
Do you think any of the other boyfriends could be A?
For a long time, a lot of the fans thought that Ezra could be A. But I just think Ezra’s really sweet and he’s in it for the long haul. And Caleb, in the finale, was helping us find A. So I think, no, Toby’s the last thing anyone was expecting.
Would Spencer ever turn onto the A Team?
Oh, I think Spencer has a sliding scale of morality, as we know from her past. I think she loves the girls to death and might convince herself some things are better to do than others maybe for the wrong reasons. Out of any of them, I think she’s the most capable – but I don’t really want to think that. I don’t know how well that would go over though.

Your "Pretty Little Liars" character Maya died last season, but we've been seeing you in a few flash backs and video sequences since. Is there more to come?
The last video will be in the season 3 finale.
How different is shooting your scenes now? Do you still get to see the other members of cast?
I shot all of the Maya videos, surveillance footage and website pictures in one day with a separate film crew unit. It was different in the sense that it was just myself and the crew. It was extremely fun to do, but also kind of heartbreaking because of how they would fit into the story line in future episodes - someone so full of life speaking to you from the grave in a completely intimate, unguarded way. Nope, I didn't see any other cast members outside of the make-up trailer.
Fans were really disappointed when Maya died and sent pens with the message "We want Maya alive & written back into the show" to Marlene King. Some of these pens found their way into the season 3 summer finale. How did you feel about the fact that fans are so attached to your character?
It genuinely moves me that people feel so connected to Maya. I thought that was such an amazing thing for them to do and I'm really excited for them that the pen is going to get featured!
What is working with Shay Mitchell like and what do you wish for Emily to happen?
Shay is great. I think that Emily has had a really interesting arc. She has had so many ups and downs, but is really coming into her own- really blossoming and finding her strength and her voice. I guess what I would wish for Emily is already in motion: she connected with someone that had already been where she was previously and could help her come out of the shadows and challenge her out of love to not dim her light. And now she has kind of found her sea legs, and his helping someone else out of the shadows.
Toby Is "A": 11 Pretty Little Liars Scenes That Now Seem Totally Different
The knowledge that Toby (Keegan Allen) is part of the "A" team on Pretty Little Liars changes everything. While we don't know how long he's been part of the team, it's possible he's been bad for a very long time.
And that throws a lot of previously innocuous scenes into a totally new light. While obviously everything about Toby can be read differently now, here are the 11 scenes that strike us as particularly changed now that we know Toby might have the worst of intentions.
1. 901 free at last: The currently accepted explanation for Toby's tattoo — that it's commemorating his freedom from Jenna (Tammin Sursok), not Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) death — could be a total lie.
2. Toby spying on Alison: In Season 1 Toby tells Spencer (Troian Bellisario) he never spied on anyone, and says he isn't really sure why Ali told the girls he was spying on them, beyond her generally being a liar who didn't like him. But could he be the liar in this situation? It's possible Ali was right all along.
3. Jenna's tape: In Season 1 the Liars find a tape that seems to prove Jenna was blackmailing Toby into having a sexual relationship with her. But as we know, tapes can be deceiving. Is this story not quite what it seems?
4. Spoby hotel bonding: Every Spoby shipper remembers the infamous Scrabble game that kicked the ship into high gear in Season 1, Episode 19: "Person of Interest." That bonding moment (as well as the subsequent cuddling) takes place while Spencer and Toby are staking out a hotel room they mistakenly thought Jenna was staying in. Is the whole stakeout orchestrated by the "A" team to give Toby a chance to get closer to Spencer? If their relationship is part of an "A" team plan, this seems very possible.
5. Toby getting a GED: Toby's decision to drop out of school and get a GED instead (which he announces in Season 2, Episode 2: "The Goodbye Look") might have less to do with his dislike of Rosewood High, and more to do with his need for a flexible schedule as part of the "A" team.
6. "A" topples the scaffolding: In Season 2, Episode 12: “Over My Dead Body” Toby takes a tumble when "A" loosens the scaffolding he's standing on. At the time, we thought this was "A" threatening Spencer by hurting Toby, but now we wonder if Toby was in on the plan and knew the fall was coming (which might be how he managed not to hurt himself too badly). Alternatively, is it a sign that Toby was getting out of line, and the "A" team was punishing him?
7. Toby bringing Dr. Sullivan back: In Season 2, Episode 25: “UnmAsked” we learn that Toby is the reason Dr. Sullivan came back to town. Now that we know Toby is part of the "A" team, we have to question everything about Dr. Sullivan's story. Can we trust her at all?
8.Toby tells the Liars about Jenna's eyedrops: In Season 3, Episode 2: “Blood Is the New Black,” Toby subtly leads Spence to the conclusion that Jenna can see. If he and Jenna are at odds, he may have done this to cast suspicion on his step-sis once again.
9. Toby's anger about Jason: In Season 3, Episode 8: “Stolen Kisses,” Toby is really angry that Jason (Drew Van Acker) is MIA after he and Spencer lied to the cops to help Jason. But is this anger really about something else? Perhaps the "A" team needs to know where Jason went, and Toby is frustrated that he can't figure it out.
10. Toby's disappearances: Toby's disappearances in both Season 2 and Season 3 suddenly seem very ominous. What was he up to?
11. Spencer and Toby have sex: Perhaps saddest of all is the Spoby sex scene in Season 3, Episode 12: “The Lady Killer.” Does Toby really love her despite his "A" team status, or was that just one more way to be cruel to her?

‘PRETTY LITTLE LIARS’: WHEN WILL SPENCER LEARN THE TRUTH?
I know we were all incredibly shocked by Toby’s betrayal. (Also, none of us actually believe he’s evil, right?) But I’m willing to bet that our broken hearts are going to be mere blips on the pain radar compared to what Spencer will feel when she finds out the truth. And according to Troian Bellisario, that might be sooner than we think.
“She doesn’t know about it [yet] but she’s a very smart girl, so you can expect that she’s not going to stay in the dark for very long,” she told EW at the Tadashi Shoji fashion show this week. “One of the things that we setup very well is that other than the girls, the only thing in the world that Spencer truly loves and feels comfortable with is Toby. So, you’re going to see a storm [when she finds out].”
Meanwhile, Bellisario said she’s excited for fans to check out the Halloween episode on Oct. 23, which picks up a few months after the events seen in the summer finale. “It’s the craziest episode we’ve ever filmed [and it's] a different setting than you’ve ever seen,” she says of the big train ride from Hell. “Everybody’s there and it’s in a very confined setting. It’s like a boiling pot [and] everybody’s problems kind of [come] to a head.”
As long as none of this results in someone actually losing their head, I’m in. But with PLL, you never know, do you?
What if he wasn't on the team at first, and they were trying to get him to join, so they did the scaffolding thing to threaten him. That combined with Emily telling him that spencer was with wren in the hospital made him want to join the team?
^^^^^ People are in denial.
Toby is evil. They need to get over it. XD
I'm sorry, but if a group of girls blinded my sister, blamed me for it, and sent me to juvie, I sure as hell would not be doing anything to protect them. Toby has self respect, I'd hope.

It's more self-respectful to forgive and forget and not plot revenge. I sure hope he doesn't have self-respect and torment the girls a little bit longer.
