I think the single will announce tomorrow 1 August?!!
I hope we get some info tomorrow. The album release date is around the corner and we have nothing.
In a way a part of me hopes the single drops as a surprise. Doing this makes it less likely to leak and gives the single longevity for radio to catch up to digital sales instead of front loading sales.
I'm pretty confident there's about a 0% chance of that happening. They've got this thing all planned out and wouldn't have started the whole campaign with the truck if they weren't 100% on the date. If anything it would be the 1st single, but even that can only be pushed back so far, she's gotta have something new to perform at the iHeartRadio festival on Sept. 20
Katy's first single from upcoming album "Prism" is titled "Roar" and it comes out August 9th and will available on iTunes August 13th! More information coming very soon. Stay tuned!
lol, so technically we still don't have the title or the release date. It's gonna happen sooner than later. The album is coming 2 months 3 weeks from now. The label has got to have some big things up their sleeve for promo.
The label would lose TONS of sales that way by waiting. Everyone will already have it by Monday.
I was thinking the same thing. If its gonna be released the 9th why not make it available on iTunes the same day? I have confidence in Capitol though, so I believe they know what they're doing
Yea this is the lead single coming off the biggest pop era of all time, Capitol won't **** it up and waste 3 potential sales days, especially them being weekend days.
I do believe its ROAR tho, cuz that Pulse insider seemed to insinuate that it was. It's a great title. We just need a date.
& yes "Roar" is an amazing title, I wouldn't want any other title now that I have so many ideas in my head and I already picture the video and everything so yeah..."Roar" it should be
