If Donald was a woman, he'd be President of the Devious White Woman™ (see; Mellie Grant, Edith Wilson, Claire McCaskill etc) committee. Nothing he does doesn't have a motive. Which leads me to wonder what the motive for him signing that pledge was. You'd have to be dense to believe it was for his "love and support of the Republican party".

I already called this somewhere in this thread but it's going to take a total collapse for Joe to jump in. If he runs with her in the race he is going to split her votes and hand Bernie Iowa and NH at least.

Add Trump to the list of people who say Kim should've done her job. Kim's lawyers were hoping for candidate sympathy, but the most likely gop picks all said she was wrong.

She should have been doing her job. And San Francisco law enforcement officials need to be doing their's on the illegal immigration issue.
Also, if Bernie decides to be Hilary's VP, it's game set match and win for the Democrats in the general.

Would Bernie really try that? I get the feeling he wouldn't want 'a silver' especially under Hillary.

He's been in politics for years, and has bigger ambitions. I'd think he'd take if it were offered to him with the right deal. Plus Hilary needs a Warren/Bernie if she has any hope of getting the Obama coalition.

In my Clinton White House where I somehow make every decision, Bernie is Secretary of Education and takes a leading role in the college loan financing policy making of the administration.

I agree she broke the law, she is a payed by the state so she does not get to decide. So I am okay with her going to jail.
My problem is the double standard applied. She hurt some feelings and goes to jail on the other hand a guy is released to the streets and murders Kate and nothing, not a finger is lifted to address it.
Congress needs to cut off all funds to sanctuary cities until they comply with the law.

I disagree with sanctuary cities, but there is a difference between the two things. Davis was deliberately violating the law, while those in charge of sanctuary cities just aren't enforcing laws. Both unethical, but one is a flaunting of the violation of a law (and it's been ruled that you can't cite religious beliefs in order to disregard the law) and the other isn't.

it's the exact same thing. They are both govt officials who are supposed to be following the law to the letter. Davis was not violating a law, she just chose to not follow one. Same situation, neither is okay.

But it's not racist, which is the point. The US has the right to build one if we choose to.

One is openly flaunting their defiance, the other is just not doing their job. Davis isn't permitting anyone under her to do her job.
But yes, neither is okay and I'd love to see everyone in charge of sanctuary cities dealt with.

They made it sound like a good policy, which it isn't.

I honestly feel bad for Trump. He just gave his opponents the material they needed to make some shots at his credibility.

Biden and Warren are definitely scheming against Clinton...Clinton has more baggage than Mariah Carey going on vacation to the south of France. What they are thinking is that Biden would be "moderate" and "folksy" enough not to be seen as Obama's 3rd term.
Joe selects Warren as VP and only serves one term...allowing Warren time to become palatable to the American electorate.

This election is becoming a little unpredictable and weird lol. It'll be interesting to see who will be the nominees for both party.
