You guys know that not everything needs to be promoted the **** out it in order to smash right

A song that's meant to smash will smash no matter what, look at We Are Young it got almost nothing of promo but a chevy commercial and ****ing BOOM or Call Me Maybe where it practically just needed a tweet from Bieber, i could go on and on with examples..

I still have faith on Gaga, i'm sure she's still capable of creating top 40 smash hits!

Maybe she will just do a 2nd leg to the tour and revamp it. The castle and costumes were probably pretty expensive. I could see her release her new album and then revamp the tour to contain material from her new album. The BTWB 2.0 would be much shorter but still span the globe.

She has released an album roughly every year and a half. Holiday 2012 would mark 1 1/2 years since BTW. BTW was heavily promoted as was The Fame meanwhile she toured through the entire TFM era and we got minimal promotion. So perhaps this era we will get minimal promotion and she will be mostly on tour for it.

i never even thought about the struggle to promote the song in the US. cant believe i completely ignored that....maybe if she releases it during the one month break she could come back to the US to promote it...but i don't see that happening. i think she should wait until she can promote it then.

i remember telephone got to number 3 on the BB100 with no promo.

I still want fantastic and over-the-top videos, but she needs to get professional directors to do them at least in collaboration with her. She's a great director but her being notorious for the sheer quality of her videos, she really needs to bring it even if it means relinquishing at least some creative power over to a more experienced director. I do agree that she needs to stop creating short films for her music videos because they're really ineffective. If she wants to do that I'd rather her do it separately as a side project if she's really into the concept.

Honestly, if her material can hold its own then everything should work out fine. Just her releasing a music video is enough for the general public to come flocking to see what she came up with. She one of the hottest superstars at the moment and there really is no way that radio won't give this a spin right off of the bat because she's an anticipated act. We'll see though.
